Pumpkin Patching 2009

Last weekend we headed down to Portland for our annual pumpkin patch visit with Jen, Chris and the girls. We arrived late Thursday night - just in time for Grandparents/Special Friends day at Julia and Emma's elementary school on Friday. Since Grandma's and Grandpa's weren't able to make it, I was lucky to fill in as a special friend! It was SO fun to see Julia and Emma in their classrooms, interacting with friends and their teachers. I am so proud of both of them - they are such fantastic little people and made me feel so special and welcome.

Nate likes his playdough a little TOO much.

Saturday was a busy, busy day! The sea of rain that kept us inside the day before thankfully subsided for Julia and Emma's soccer games. Watching them play on a beautiful fall day was awesome and Emma even scored her first goal! Our original plan was to head to the pumpkin patch on Sunday, but with rain in the forecast we decided instead to take advantage of the beautiful day and head to the patch after lunch.

GO JULIA!

Hard to tell that Emma is two years older than Jill!

Too cute!

My favorite pic of the day

Cute family photo

Minus one

The girls shared an enormous caramel apple.

THE END

Thank you for posting your portland/pumpkin pics, Molly. It is such a treat to see the Povich family. Those girls are unbelievable, little ladies, since last I saw them. Love that there is now a little boy in the mix! XO, G/ma Sous
