Jill sent several binkies off to the babies who don't have binkies yesterday. She has one left - until Christmas when she will send that one off too. I have a feeling this is going to be a tough transition. Understandably so - I can't even imagine trying to give up a habit you've had since birth! Crossing my fingers that she won't be too traumatized by the whole experience. Maybe the sparkly shoes and fun dance skirt she got in exchange for the binky helped?
Letter to the babies

I love her letter to the babies!
Oh my goodness, what a sweet picture of Jill! ;)
What a big girl! Can't wait to hear how this is all going come Book Club in a month. :)
We will be working on this too in the next year or so...looking forward to hearing how it goes for you!
Molly-
Love the pictures!! Clara was completely addicted to her binkies and would hold 3 or 4 of them at a time. We were so worried about how it would go taking them away, but when she finally chewed through the one we took with us on vacation, we told her we didn't have any more and it seriously took about 2 days of crying and she was completely over them! It was WAY less traumatic than we thought it would be....hoping you have a similar experience and don't have to lose too much sleep in the process!!!
I'm counting on Jillian to surprise us and do just fine after a day or two without the binks. She's a big girl now! Love, G/ma Sous
