Manzanita Memories

We are tired, tanned, sand covered and happy tonight. Just returned from a long weekend on the Oregon Coast with my entire family. Ten of us shared a cozy cabin just a 2 minute walk from the beach in Manzanita. The weather was beautiful. Memories - the kids playing at the waters edge in their swim suits (the brisk breeze didn't seem to bother them at all!), fishing with Grandpa, exploring tide pools, celebrating summer birthdays, the girls making up games and having so much fun together, kids having a slumber party in the bunk room, playing canasta after the kids were in bed, outdoor market and ice cream in Manzanita and a walk through the woods to the beach. We had a great time and just might have to make it a yearly event!
