Forty years ago today my Mom and Dad said "I do." Mom wore a beautiful white dress, her bridesmaids wore light yellow. Dad wore his dress blues. It was the hottest day of the year. Eight days short of a year later my sister was born and a little over three years after that I was born.

Thank you for being such wonderful role models for what a loving and successful marriage looks like. I have always admired the way you can laugh together and also the affection you show towards each other, even 40 years later! We love you and hope you have a wonderful day today!!
