A case of the juice pouch

After experiencing an array of "issues" last week (conjunctivitis, fever, diarrhea) we were relieved to have Nate seemingly back to his normal self on Saturday morning. Then his body chose the breakfast table as a fitting place to tell us that things were not quite back to normal...yet. It went something like this:

Nate, standing on a chair at the table, starts to pass some pretty serious, loud and stinky gas. Jill and I, sitting at the table next to him, start to get the giggles. Next thing we know the sound of a fairly large explosion comes from Nate's seat. The cutest look of surprise lights up his face, he points at his diaper and exclaims, "JUICE!", followed closely by "JUICE POUCH!". I'll let you use your imagination as to what we found in his diaper. What I will say is that the clean up required a change of clothes, 2 towels and a new changing table cover. Thankfully the rest of Saturday was incident free, and every day since. Given the 6 chicken nuggets, satsuma orange and huge pile of refried beans he had for dinner tonight, I'd say things are finally back to normal. Whew. :)
