Little boy becomes Little man

Nathan is growing so fast...too fast. It's hard to believe that just 17 months ago he was a little, tiny infant. Then he became a little boy and now, almost overnight, he's a little man! These days he's sassy (likes to scream "mine!" when anything is taken away from him), active (he can climb from a dining room chair to the middle of the table in .0001 seconds) and sweet (think slimy kisses!). His vocabulary is really taking off as well. He can say:
- bye, bye
- hi!
- yucky
- daddy (pronounced daaadeee)
- doggie (hard to distinguish from daddy)
- all gone
- uh oh
- oh no
- Jill (sounds like a combination of dill and a general grunting sound)
- moo
- woof woof (really just a couple of grunts, but he does it every time I say woof woof so I know that is what he is saying!)
- ba ba (bottle)
- mama
- mine

I think I'm forgetting some here, but these are definitely the ones we hear most often! In July Nathan will move to a daycare closer to our house (about 1/2 mile away). I'm SO excited because going from Shoreline to Queen Anne and back to north Ballard on any given day is not my idea of a good time! It will be fun to walk both of the kids to school this summer. Life is good!
