He's all boy

My little boy is growing up! From this...

to this!

I'm starting to realize how different it is going to be to have a boy in the house. Nathan is already a human wrecking ball - or as Jillian calls him "Dr. Destructo!" Case in point - this morning we went for a walk. Nathan wanted to be anywhere BUT on the sidewalk. AND his favorite activity was to walk in peoples flower beds and stomp (yes stomp) on their plants. So charming! :)

Nathan wasn't talking up until about three weeks ago, but as I had guessed, once his first word came out - cracker (said more like "gracker") - the language floodgates opened up! He now says "mo, mo" for more, uh oh and hello (we think - he always says the same thing while holding the phone up to his ear so we're figuring it's hello!). Nathan also claps when we say "good job" and sits on his bottom when asked.

This is such a fun age. I remember when Jillian finally started communicating with us - seems so long ago especially since she is now saying things like "Mom, can we listen to that Pink song again?" and "Can I have some gum?" Oh the teenage years will be here before we know it!
