Pre-school!

Waving goodbye from the "bye bye" bench
Big day today. Jillian did great - she was excited and could hardly wait to play in her new classroom. I also did great, until she waved at me through the window, then I lost it. I'm so proud of my girl!
Jill's classroom at Small Faces is about three times the size of the room she was in at her last school. Lots of toys, books and space to move! I was so pleased to find a flyer from the teachers in her pocket on the door. It included a calendar listing the theme for every day during the month of September - the first two weeks are about "getting acquainted," week 3 is nursery rhymes, week 4 is "all about me," and week 5 is apples. The flyer also listed supplies needed for special projects, things like newspapers, plastic bags and empty frozen juice cans. Such a difference. I am really excited to go pick Jill up and see how her first day went!

Wow, like I always say ... I can't believe she was born the day we left for Bulgaria and now she is three and headed to preschool. Time, time, time ... where does it go?
I'm sending lots of hugs and kisses to you and your fam.
