She seriously drew this herself. Pretty dang good for an almost three year old if you ask me!
Our world has been full of bodily fluids lately. Spit up and runny nose for Nathan. Pee and poop for Jillian. After having a great weekend with potty training Jillian kept the trend going yesterday by actually telling her teacher she had to go and running upstairs to the bathroom. She then wowed me by heading straight to the potty when we got home and asking for some privacy. When I went in several minutes later she had pooped in the potty! (I apologize if this is too much info for you - must capture for future story-telling!) Jill made it through today with ZERO accidents and several successful trips to the potty. One almost down, one to go!
We spent 4th of July week in Boise with my family. Unfortunately I didn't bring my camera so I don't have any pictures, but I hope to get some from Mom and Dad soon. The three girls had a blast together - lots of time at the pool and out running around in Grandpa's immaculate grass. The highlight was the annual 4th of July parade in Mom and Dad's neighborhood - the girls decorated Grandpa's riding lawnmower and rode with him, throwing candy to spectators. Really cute. Another great trip!
Looking forward to the next few weeks when I finally get to meet little Lucy (Jinx and Pete's little one) and we go to our first Zoo Tunes concert. So glad that summer is finally here!!
