Pumpkin with a scary face

While I was shopping at Target the other night, Justin and Jillian spent the evening carving our pumpkin. Jillian kept telling Justin that she wanted the pumpkin to have a "scary face." Then once he had the scary face all drawn out on the pumpkin, she changed her mind and requested a "silly face." Too late! Despite her change of heart she really likes the scary faced pumpkin!

Halloween festivities for this year consisted of a trip to the zoo on Saturday night for the Pumpkin Prowl. I was a good mom for this event and remembered to bring the camera. Not such a good mom last night when we actually took Jillian trick or treating up on Queen Anne. We walked for a couple of blocks and then made our way to Auntie Suz and Uncle Pete's house for some refreshments and candy counting. Fun times!

And now, the fairy princess!

I promise to post some pictures of our "in progress" bathroom soon. It's far from being done, but it's getting there!
