Hello everyone - so sorry about the blog hiatus. Moving really took it out of me. We're finally getting settled (all except for Sal who has barely stepped foot outside of the new house). Lots to do, but lots of time to do it too! I think we'll be here for awhile.
Was reminded today of how short life really can be. A co-workers brother-in-law to be (she is getting married in 2-1/2 weeks) was killed in a plane crash. So sad for this family who also went through quite a trying time 2 years ago when their other son (my co-workers fiance) was hit by a car and nearly killed while riding his bike. Needless to say I cherished every minute with Jillian this evening. We had a mommy/daughter evening because Justin is playing basketball tonight. Lots of smiles and laughter - less stressing about getting to bed on time. Need to remember that time passes by so quickly and that life can change in an instant.

We do tend to stress about the wrong things in life sometimes and not spend enough time thinking about the very important things and how blessed we are.
Soooo... just want to say once again how much we love you all and what a darling little granddaughter we have. Can't wait to spend some time with all of you. Love, Dad and Mom W.
