This blog is about us. Justin, Jillian and I. Now although I love to go on and on and on about Jillian (as I have in every post to date!) and I know you all love to hear me go on and on and on about Jillian, I decided tonight that it's time to start reflecting a bit. Why? Someday I hope to transfer my thoughts from these blog entries to scrapbook pages and in addition to capturing all of Jillian's milestones and cute moments, I also want to capture Justin and I - who we are as parents and also who we are as individuals. I'm going to start challenging myself to think outside of the box. To use this blog as a journal that we can share with Jillian when the day comes that she sees us only as her boring parents and not as two people who were once teenagers and young adults themselves. So I ask you to bear with me and my thoughts and rest assured that I will continue to post many, many entries dedicated to Jillian - that girl is so darn cute, how could I not?!

Reflective blogging to come – right now I’m going to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of a sleeping baby and the comfort of an empty couch (Justin is at the Paramount rocking out to the Strokes!)…ahhhh, I’m feeling very sleepy…good night.
