Scene: I had just cut Nate's fingernails and toenails and was getting ready to cut Jill's. Nate wandered across the room to play with something. Suddenly I hear whining...
Nate: Moooommm!
Me: What Nate?
Nate: Now I don't have any fingernails!
[He comes over and holds some Legos right in front of my face.]
Me: Oh, and now you're having trouble pulling your Legos apart? I can help you if you need help. [and I turn back to start cutting Jill's fingernails]
Jill [looking straight at me with an annoyed look on her face]: And what will I use to pick my nose?
