Well, it's official - my last day with WaMu/Chase will be 1/29. No surprise, but still a little hard to hear the actual news. I'm feeling...
- Very sad at the thought of not seeing all of my great friends and co-workers every day
- Fortunate to have met them in the first place and to have had such a successful career at WaMu
- Excited and anxious about the future
I've talked for years about wanting to work in a more creative field and this is my opportunity to make it happen. And even if it doesn't happen right away, I have lots of HR experience to keep me employed while I take some classes and build up my portfolio!

I was wondering about you yesterday. I'm certainly sorry to hear about WaMu, but like everybody else is saying, you'll be great at whatever new venture comes your way!
Ugh! That's hard news but I'm sure something better is right around the corner.
