I took Nathan in for his 4-month check up today. No surprise - he is a BIG boy. Here is a comparison with Jillian's 4-month stats:
Weight:
Jillian - 15lbs 1oz
Nathan - 16lbs 9oz!
Length:
Jillian - 25 1/2 inches
Nathan - 26 1/4 inches
Head circumference:
Jillian - 42cm
Nathan - 44cm
I'm relieved that Nathan will most likely be taller than his sister, I have mixed emotions about how fast he is growing and I think I better start lifting weights so I will be able to pick him up past his first birthday!
In other news, Nathan has not slept in his car seat since last Thursday night. Whoopee! And as of tonight, the binky is history. After all that we've been through (and are still going through) with Jillian and her binkys we decided to wean Nathan early. He has never expressed a strong interest anyway so we figure it won't be too hard for him. So far, so good. He went to sleep just fine without it tonight. We'll see how the rest of the evening goes...

Big boy is right! Pip was 16 lbs at 1 year ;).
Good for you about the binky...it' was heartbreaking to take it away from Ty at 18 months.
Molly, here is a trick my parents did on me so I would get rid of my binky. They took me to the nursery at the hospital (they had pre-arranged this outing with a nurse) & I looked at all the babies through the window. Then my mom told me I had to give my binky to the nurse because the babies needed them & I was a big girl. Apparently after I gave them to the nurse I never asked for it again!
Not only are Jillian and Nathan very photogenic and darling, but their Mom is qhite talented with her camera. Love you all. Love, Mom W
