Walk and Words

W A L K
If this girl could live outside, she would. When we leave day care she immediately asks to walk. When we get home at the end of the day she asks to walk. Anywhere we go she wants to be outside walking! Thankfully the weather is only going to get better, although as evidenced by the yellow rain slicker in these pictures, we even walk when the weather is not so nice. Works for me - I welcome the excuse to get some exercise and explore the neighborhood with Jillian!

W O R D S
When Shannon's kids turned 18 months I remember her making a list of all of the words they had learned. I loved this idea, so here goes...
walk, mommy, daddy, mom, mama, Emma, Sal, light, food, beans, stop, no, shoe, sock, shirt, pink, apple, nana (banana), flower, doggie, cat, bird, birdy, caw (sound a birdy makes), duck, quack, color, pen, airplane, bus, people, car, belly, nose, eye, potty, animals, mannur (= water), juice, cereal, milk, cracker, cheese, hot, owie, seat, sit, uppy (up), help, thank you (pronounced tich yu), and my favorite, poo poos (often accompanied by a helpful gesture to show you where the poo poos are located).
On that note, good night. :)

So cute. Love the rain slicker.
uppy is a word used in our house too. I love that you did this too.

I can count on my two hands how many times I have spent time with Jillian since she was born. This makes me so sad. She is so beautiful!
