100 random things about me

I was inspired by Shannon to attempt a list of 100 random things about me...here goes:

1. I have always wanted to be a “regular” somewhere – coffee shop, restaurant, somewhere!
2. I love boutique shopping
3. I really want a VW Rabbit or a Eurovan
4. I love walking through open houses to get decorating ideas
5. I spend too much time reading blogs and looking for houses on the internet
6. Speaking of, we are currently looking for a new house!
7. Although we can’t afford to live downtown, I would love to become a truly urban family by doing so
8. I am often too hard on myself (internally)
9. I wish all of my family lived in the same city so we could do Sunday night dinners together and babysit each others kids
10. If my grandmas lived in Seattle I would cook them meals and visit often
11. Julia and Emma are my two favorite little people (not counting Jillian!) – spending time with them is very high on my list of favorite things to do
12. I prefer facials or pedicures over massages
13. I recently decided that I have a “short hair” soul, but I’m growing my hair out (go figure!)
14. Justin and I have considered only having one child
15. Justin and I have concluded that Jillian will need someone to help take care of us when we’re old, so we will eventually have another child
16. We will not find out whether we are having a boy or girl
17. I’m scared to have another baby…I’m not sure I will be able to stay sane if I have to spend another 9 weeks living at Swedish
18. I enjoy my job, but it doesn’t satisfy the artist in me
19. I love the people I work with – they are the reason I go to work everyday
20. I wish I had inherited my dad’s ability to draw (he has a degree in Art!)
21. Guilt is the toughest part about being a mom
22. In my next life I hope to be witty and more spontaneous
23. I don’t like the word “moist”
24. I love the words “scrumptious” and “fantastic”
25. Wow, this is hard…
26. Justin’s best friend asked me out before he did (tee, hee)
27. I’ve worked for WaMu 10 years in July
28. Justin and I stayed up until midnight the other night playing games – Sequence and Pick Up Sticks
29. I really hope I can grow my hair out, just this once…
30. Jillian can sing the “up above the” part of “Twinkle, Twinkle”
31. I wish I had an unlimited budget for clothes
32. I want to go back to Europe with Justin
33. People often confuse “Sal” with “Sous” when I am talking about one or the other
34. If Jillian doesn’t grow at all between now and her 2nd birthday she will be 5’6’’ (if the theory that your ultimate height = your height at age 2 x 2 is true)
35. I drink a short, nonfat Chai from Starbucks almost every morning
36. I don’t see or talk to my friends enough (sad)
37. I cry every time I watch certain episodes of “Sex and the City”
38. The trip that Justin and I took to Akumal, Mexico is still my favorite vacation ever
39. Justin gave me a Canon Rebel for Christmas – I have a lot to learn about photography
40. Jillian is crying – I will be right back…
41. I would love to go to art school
42. Maybe someday…
43. I usually read less than a page of my book before falling asleep at night
44. I am bit OCD when it comes to leaving the house – I have the impulse to check everything twice (Dad, I wonder where I got this from?)
45. One of my biggest fears is the fear that someone will take advantage of me or take me for granted
46. I could eat pizza for dinner once a week
47. I am not very good at expressing my true feelings
48. I want to make time to exercise, but I don’t as often as I should
49. I recently discovered that I love chocolate cookies with peanut butter chips

61. I need to remember to make time for myself and for my relationship with Justin
62. I need to remember to take time everyday to love my cat

64. It’s 10:19 and I’m tired.
65. I’m going to learn to play tennis this summer
66. I was really bad at tennis growing up. Jen was on the tennis team and we would sometimes play in the street in front of our house. She was always chasing down the ball. Wow, I was really bad. This could be interesting.
