Sponge Bob slippers, Peek a Boo and some snow

What do these things have in common? Jillian loves all of them!

The sponge bob slippers were a hand me down from Julia and Emma. They arrived on Thanksgiving and have been a big hit ever since. Jillian regularly "asks" (asks = an urgent, piercing scream) for us to put the slippers on her feet. And then she walks around with such purpose - so cute!

Peek a Boo is a favorite game - it's especially fun when Jillian's hands are covered in food. Yum. She likes to peek at you through her fingers. The other day we were at Bellevue Square and she proceeded to play peek a boo with someone elses dad while I just watched and laughed.

And some snow - on Saturday afternoon we went downtown to do some shopping, have dinner and watch the "snow" fall at Pacific Place (it happens everyday at 6). While Justin was paying for dinner I brought Jillian up to the main floor of the mall to wait for the snow. Carolers were singing and people were everywhere, it was very festive. I set Jillian down where there was a bit of space and she immediately started dancing. Everyone around us started to giggle (her version of dancing is pretty hilarious). Jillian soon realized that she had an audience and proceeded to make her way up in front of the stage and continue her show. Such a ham! When the snow started to fall, Jillian's response was "wow."

So many reasons to smile every day...
