Bye, bye Mommy!

After almost 9 months, I'm leaving Jillian for the first time. sniff, sniff... I'm headed to Chicago tomorrow with my friend and co-worker Lisa. We'll be attending a conference, but we wouldn't go all the way there without planning to have a little fun too! I have mixed emotions about leaving - I'm excited to be traveling and seeing Chicago for the first time, but am feeling a little anxious about being away from Jillian. The good news is that she will not be attention deprived this week - Grandma Sousley is coming to visit! Between G'ma Sous and Daddy, Jillian will be in good hands. :)

Let's see, what will I miss most...Jillian's little giggle, her squeals of delight when I tickle her under the arms, her open mouthed kisses (so sweet!) and snuggling with her when it's time for a bottle. I will look forward to returning home to all of these things.
