Soothie searching (similar to soul searching!)

One of my favorite Christmas pictures for 2005. She looks like such a little saleswoman. :)

I just put Jillian down for her morning nap. As usual she fussed for a bit and I decided to go peek in on her. She had lost her soothie (her version of the binky or pacifier) and was desperately trying to get it back. Instead of going in and giving it to her (which usually results in it falling out again seconds later), I decided to just watch. It was amazing to see her try to get that soothie back. For several minutes she even tried to use her nose to turn it around - she looked very determined! I'll be so excited for her when she discovers that her hands make perfect soothie retrieval tools.

All is now quiet - Jillian must have finally decided to give up on the soothie and take a little snooze. Must go jump in the shower while I have the chance!
